Take two: We're bringing back the Zero Waste Coats with one edit.
The change: they're overdyed with azo-free dyes. What this means is that the colours are slightly different from the last round, the Zero Waste Coat + Charcoal is a deeper black but everything else is still the same – in fit, feel, and functionality. You can take a look at the new colour by clicking on the close-up of the coat or scrolling down to see the first image.
Made from 30kg of our offcuts and roll-ends and overdyed with azo-free dyes. From dyeing, weaving, to stitching, there are 26 people involved in the making of these coats. Every finished coat represents a twofold revival: of fabric that would otherwise have been sent to the landfill, and of a dying craft tradition.
Every piece is handmade and handwoven, as such no two coats are the same and stripe placement may vary. As this coat is over-dyed with azo-free dyes, colour and weaving variations may occur, as it is a part of its charm.
Available in limited quantities.

The Zero Waste Coat is a jacket made for the in-between: for weather that’s one foot out of summer and one foot into autumn, and journeys spent on overnight trains. Detailed with wide set sleeves and a cocoon silhouette, it makes for the perfect layering essential. Plus it has pockets, of course.
100% medium weight cotton. As this coat is over-dyed with azo free dyes, colour and weaving variations may occur, as it is a part of its charm.
For best results, dry clean only. Most professional dry cleaners use chemicals that are bad for the environment (and you!). We recommend opting for green dry cleaners instead. Otherwise, you can also handwash cold.
