Inspired by the multifold drapes of the Indian dhoti, this is an edgier version designed for modern asymmetry. Worn with character, the expressive side slinging pocket and versatile wrap fit are easily styled for a beach day out or evening tipples. Our signature unisex style.
Nadia fits a US Size 4, she is 165cm tall and wears Matter Size 1.
Wrap around the waist or hip for a snug final fit. Elegant and effortless, the gentle folds from the side pocket are balanced with side darts to give a skimming effect.
100% light weight cotton. Soft and breathable. Colour and weaving variations may occur, part of the charm of handloomed fabrics.
Changes in colour and structure with exposure to natural surroundings, washing or wearing may occur.
Wash separately in first few washes to prevent colour runs. After that, machine wash with similar colours. For best results, handwash cold or use delicate machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Line dry inside-out. Cool iron inside-out.
Really love how versatile the sideswept dhoti is - casual with a tee and dress it up with a blouse. Fits perfectly and really flattering. Recommend to size up as the material is a little more stiff.
I want to love these but they’re not functional. They look great standing up, and fit in all the right places, but I cannot sit down or bend easily. The fabric becomes so tight around my thighs pulling at the seams; it feels like they will tear apart in not too long. For reference I’m 173cm tall, 58kg, and not particularly big in the thighs either. Not recommended for similar shapes. I would have sent them back but purchased them on sale online.
Keeps me chic even when pregnant!
sooo comfy! really love the slightly purple shimmery colour of this pair, and how high-waisted they are - though they fall a bit short on me when i tie them too high (though i suppose that's the style now) so maybe I should have gotten a size 2, but 2's sold out anyway and size 1 matches my measurements more. only complaint is that the crotch area? runs a bit tight, i think I pulled a seam when I sat down cross-legged cause now there's a short loose thread and a finger-sized gap D: bit sad to see something this expensive tear (a bit) on my first day wearing it but it's small and fixed easily enough! also going to the toilet can be a bit of a hassle but it's worth it for these trousers HAHA
I really like the style; the quality is good. however, I thought the price was too high. I later discovered the same Sideswept Dhoti pants for $19.99, in various colors.
