Worn by nomadic tribes and skilled artisans of iron, this bold repeat pattern derives from a large spear or arrow head motifs. The Bhalka is traditional for the Gadia Lohar, iron workers historically renowned for the fierce defense of their identity and skilled artisans of the bhala spear. Also called the Banjari print, it is still worn today by the nomadic Banjara community in Gujarat.

  • Long pleat details add a structured elegance to the flow of the pants. Deep pockets are hidden along the seams for functionality, and a four-button closure ensures flexibility of wearing. 

    100% organic cotton. Blockprinted and dyed with azo-free dyes.

  • Wash separately in first few washes to prevent colour runs. After that, machine wash with similar colours. For best results, handwash cold or use delicate machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Line dry inside out. Cool iron inside-out.

Comfortable and elegant

So stylish and the color and pattern are beautiful. They’re really versatile and can be dressed up or down. I appreciate the multiple button options which allow for a tighter or looser fit depending on your preference.
