The Split-Back Mandar Shirt + Handloom Graph Grey
Handloom weavers are the single largest group of artisans in India, which has one of the richest traditions and variety of this craft. Elusive in its woven patterns, the beauty of handloom is more obvious when you hold it close.
Take note of the mandarin collar, high low hem, and slit-back detail. This was over 18 months of design and sampling in its making, all to make it a little more different than your average work shirt. We love it for its flexibility: wear it as a top for your meeting days, or unbutton it and wear it as is for a beach cover-up.

Zoya fits a US Size 4, she is 172cm tall and wears Matter Size 1.
100% lightweight cotton, the threads are woven and dyed by hand with natural dyes. Colour variations may occur, as it is a part of its charm. Comes with a hidden three button tab closure at the neckline, detailed with a high-low hem and split-back accent. Roll it up or button at the cuff of your sleeves - it's up to you.
Hand wash cold with mild detergent is preferred to maintain the colour and feel of this delicate fabric. For the first wash, keep it separate from your other garments. If you choose to machine wash, opt for a delicate wash with cold water and keep to light colours. Line dry inside-out under the sunlight. Iron your top on the lowest setting for gentle care.
The color is lovely and cut is nice in theory, but really not well-fitted for a petite frame! I look like I'm drowning in it (5'2), so I won't be able to wear it for professional settings.
Beautifully sewn. Beautiful material. But one of the buttons fell off on the second wear.
