The Cross-Back Top + Rubia

$79.00 USD

Dyed naturally with the roots of the common madder plant and woven in lightweight khadi cotton, the Cross-Back Top is our closet staple. Finished with a wrap detail on back, the overlays create a subtle silhouette of elegance and edge. Tuck it into your favourite Sideswept Dhoti or wear it as is with any of our other pants. After all, it goes with everything.

    • 100% lightweight khadi cotton, the threads are woven then dyed by hand with natural dyes. Colour variations may occur, as it is a part of its charm.

    • Handwash cold with mild detergent is preferred to maintain the colour and feel of this delicate fabric. For the first wash, keep it separate from your other garments. If you choose to machine wash, opt for a delicate wash with cold water and keep to light colours. Line dry inside-out under the sunlight. Iron your top on the lowest setting for gentle care.

    Pretty and versatile

I love the simplicity of this top, with a cute (or sexy) cross-back detail - can easily be dressed up or down.

    Rubia cross back top

Firstly, I love the philosophy behind this brand which is why I continue to support. I really like the simple design of the cross back top as well as the color. However, if you wear it underneath another sweater/jacket, the fabric creates little lint balls and also fades in color. I still wear it but am a bit disappointed in this decline in quality after such a short time (about a month).

Thanks for the love TY. And we're so sorry about the cross back top, this is the first time we're working with Natural Dye and we've only now see that it reacts with different types of detergent in drastic ways. We would suggest hand wash with mild soap. :) That should keep the colors locked in and minimize fabric chafing.
